This is what you do when you're outside shoveling snow and your iPod battery dies and you have no choice but to come back inside and charge it. Hope you enjoy.
I caught wind of this one a few weeks ago. Men and women alike will find this funny as hell.
Many of you have seen this before and may even remember it making Sportscenter back in 1994 when it happened. It's an unbelievable comeback in a Texas high school state championship game, only to be followed by...well, you'll find out.
I came across the last video for this installment about a month or so ago. Some of my favorite finds on YouTube are great moments in sporting events filmed from a person's seat. They're fairly prevalent now with the rise in phone-camera quality, but back in 2001 that wasn't the case. We've all seen the famous Derek Jeter flip play in Oakland a million times, but starting around the 1:00 mark, here's a look at the play from seats right behind the action.

I Like A Da YouTubes, Volume III
Simply put, it's time for another Youtube post.
This first one is from Summer Heights High, the new favorite show of everyone here at the blog and a subject of an earlier post by John. The genius behind this show is unspeakable. Get to know Jonah Takalua in this video and then do yourself a favor and watch a video or two of the show's other two main characters, Ja'mie and Mr. G (there, I even typed it in the search bar for you, so now there's no excuse not to).
Our next one you may have seen before, but it's always worth looking at again. It's an impeccable RBI Baseball re-creation of the bottom of the 9th inning in Game 6 of the 1986 World Series, complete with Vin Scully's play-by-play. It combines arguably the best baseball game on the original Nintendo with arguably the defining moment of baseball in the 1980s. And of course, a chance to take a dig or two at Boston.
The last video for this installment is an answer to those who contend that Jersey Shore is exaggerated. I've said it before and I'll say it again: these people exist. The best part (aside from the dude's awesome Hyundai) is the driver saying "I can't wait to watch this on fuckin' Youtube" at the end. Pure gold, it is.

I Like A Da YouTubes, Volume II
As promised, we are back with a few YouTube gems submitted for your approval.
This first one is watchable on many levels. Come for the comedy of bad draft picks, stay for Mel Kiper's hair and the fan reactions.
Our second video needs little introduction. It's The Big Lebowski in 30 seconds:
(Side note - there are a ton of hilarious "Movies in 5 Seconds" on YouTube, where they show you pretty much all you need to see to get what the movie is about. Do yourself a favor and watch Titanic in 5 seconds if you need any further illustration).
I leave you today with a bit of Brian Regan, aka the comedian whose stuff you need to get into. Dane Cook couldn't shine this guy's shoes.

I Like A Da YouTubes
Ever get lost on YouTube and end up spending an embarrassing amount of time surfing from video to video? It's OK, you can admit it. In fact, there may be something wrong with you never have. In the first of a new department of posts, I'll save you some time and give you a few videos guaranteed to be a worthwhile watch.
This first one I discovered a few years ago and have been touting ever since, somehow without it getting old. You can't watch this without laughing.
This next one came out a year or so ago and features former Yankee center fielder Melky Cabrera drunk in a hotel room with adult film star Mary Carey behind the camera. For those who aren't too quick on the uptake, the Melk Man's priceless "I like a da woman!" at 1:16 is the inspiration for the title of this series.
The final video for today is from Season One of The Wire. If you've never seen the show, don't worry, I purposely chose a video with no spoilers. This scene, with D'Angelo showing his crew members Wallace and Bodie how to play chess, catches the series in a nutshell. Watch this one, and then go watch the entire series.
